Coach Abbie
Meet Abbie
Originally from Tasmania, Abbie moved to Western Australia in 2008 to peruse her career in environmental science and to undertake yoga teacher training. Abbie has been practicing yoga for 20 years and has had a dedicated five day a week personal practice for eleven years.
Abbie undertook a two-year (500 hour) Ashtanga yoga teacher training course in Perth and practiced and taught Ashtanga yoga for approximately seven years. In 2017 Abbie furthered her yoga studies by attending a month intensive (200 hour) training course in Indonesia. Abbie now teaches and practices a vinyassa style yoga. Abbie's classes are dynamic, free flowing, linking breath with movement.
Abbie works full time with State government in the field of environmental science and teaches one yoga class a week for CrossFit Margaret River. Abbie has been doing CrossFit for nearly three years and believes that her CrossFit practice compliments her yoga practice, and vis versa.
When Abbie isn't working, practicing yoga or doing CrossFit she enjoys surfing, mountain biking and hanging out with her husband and friends.
